Princess Anang The Seven Daughters of the Sky

One of the many legends of the Native American woodland area tribes of North America is of the seven star sisters who ignored their Father Sky’s instructions and descended to Earth to regularly dance and sing in secret. One day, a young boy discovered them and returned night after night to watch them and eventually fell in love with the youngest sister. He schemed a plan to capture her and was successful. The other sisters fled back up to the sky, leaving their little sister with the boy. Eventually, she fell in love with him and married him, but missed her family greatly. With the help of her sisters, the couple was taken to the Sky World in a basket lowered to Earth by the bride’s sisters. While Father Sky disapproved of the marriage, out of his love for his daughter, he permitted the couple to visit on Earth from time
