The Samrath

Finally a post praising the Supreme Leader of our cause, and the brother who always lead me forward into improving my skills and moving forward towards effectively functioning as one of the flag bearer of the movement.

The story of our struggle begins in the middle to late 18th century, in the golden city of Jaisalmer, then the commercial epi-center of South Asia. Maharawal Jashwant Singh was last of the great rulers of Jaisalmer and its de facto Empire which ruled over a population of Punjabis, Sindhis, Baluchis, Jaisalmeris, and Marwaris.

Eldest son of Jashwant Singh and heir-apparent was Jagat Singh. Jagat Singh is known for his victories over the Baluchi invaders. He liberated the land of Sindh as far as Hinglaj from the occupying Baluchi horde originally from Southern Iran.

Jagat Singh had 3 sons, two of whom succeeded their grandfather as the rulers of Jaisalmer. Children of Jagat Singh constitute the extended Royal Family of Jaisalmler. Eldest Buddh Singh died without a heir. The surviving sons were Maharawal Akhai Singh and Maharaj Zorawar Singh.

The heir apparent of the line of Zorawar Singh, shall he continue to lead us for eternity. All praise Rawal Rudrabhoj Bhati
